Dealership Sales Manager - Full-time

 

Do you recognize that customer expectations are increasing every day... and you're up to the challenge of meeting those needs? Are you passionate about leading a Sales team to achieve the highest results through coaching and support, being on the floor and engaged with your team, and working together towards ensuring their success? If so, you may be the candidate we are searching for.

 

The selected candidate will have previous dealership sales management experience and must have a clear and defined process to lead, train and motivate the sales team.

 

Income range: Starting at $80,000 (depending on experience)

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • A well balanced and self-motivated Sales Manager; who is process and results driven
  • Honest and enthusiastic people who embrace a customer-centered philosophy and team approach, by cooperating with all other departments and personnel
  • Passionate, engaged leader who can coach both new and experienced sales consultants
  • Driven individual who can address performance challenges head-on through one-on-one support and training.
  • Minimum 3 years Automotive Dealership Management experience
  • Previous Business Office experience an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Inventory management and facility accountability
  • Salesperson training and ongoing support; including coaching, customer follow ups and assistance with internet and telephone leads
  • Sales process management, desking deals, meeting customers, and trade appraisals
  • Achievement of the Sales Department’s monthly volume and gross profit objectives while supporting sustainable F & I performance

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid OMVIC license
  • A valid class "G" license
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without need for Company Sponsorship
  • Current criminal background check and clean drivers abstract to commence employment

Automotive Dealership Detailer Full-time

Growing dealership has an opening for a motivated, hard-working individual who has a passion for making vehicles look new again!

$12-$14 per hour to start (depending on experience)

 

Job Requirements

A vehicle detailer must be highly organized and energetic, have an outgoing personality and will be comfortable with people browsing the dealership’s lot.

 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Checking new cars off truck from factory.
  • Detailing used vehicles for lot.
  • Detailing showroom cars.
  • Detailing New & Used for customer delivery.
  • Wash, Vacuuming, waxing, buffing, shampooing.
  • Lot maintenance, pulling weeds, cutting grass, shoveling snow (some stores).
  • Keeping shop area clean.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Heavy lifting sometimes required.

Service Dispatcher (Tower Operator) - Full-time

 

The Service Dispatcher plans, organizes, manages and controls the progress of maintenance work in the Service department in a professional and timely manner and provides customers with quality repairs at a reasonable cost.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and maintains an efficient repair system.
  • Organizes the shop work schedule in such a way as to maximize productivity, in keeping with dealership policy.
  • Establishes and verifies priorities for all returns to the shop, to ensure that they are given immediate and appropriate attention.
  • Ensures that each work order is fully and appropriately documented with the complaint, the cause and the corrective action, as well as the time required for each operation.
  • Frequently checks how the work is progressing and notifies the Service Advisor and/or the customer of any change in the estimated time needed for completion of the work or the cost indicated in the estimate.
  • Warranty coding of work orders following OEM warranty guidelines.
  • Maintains professional contacts with Service customers and adheres to deadlines.
  • Keeps a detailed and up to date log of the repairs.
  • Prepares estimates as necessary.
  • Examines the paper copies of the work orders handed in by the technicians, to ensure that the work described has been performed and that the work orders have been correctly completed.
  • Opens and closes work orders.
  • Ensures that the technicians comply with the warranty conditions.
  • Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy.
  • Prepares a list of equipment, supplies and repairs needed by the Service department and checks it with his/her manager.
  • Coordinates needs for parts with the parts department; contacts customers who have ordered special parts as soon as the parts come in, in order to arrange appointments.
  • Reports any frequent shortages to the Parts and Service managers, so that the situation can be corrected.
  • Keeps abreast of federal and provincial regulations and municipal bylaws, such as those governing the removal of hazardous waste, etc., understands and observes them.

Required skills and behaviours:

  • Solid understanding of “Customer First” behaviours and goes above and beyond to demonstrate that on a daily basis
  • Ability to work in a fluid, dynamic team environment where tasks change daily and priorities are oftentimes directed by our customer.

Required qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario G driver’s license and a clear driving record.
  • Minimum of one year experience in an automotive dealership service department.
  • Computing skills including use of Microsoft Outlook, Windows, Internet navigation
