When you return your vehicle, your Volkswagen should be in good shape. Of course there will be some normal wear and tear. But to help you assess what might be considered excess wear and tear, take a look below. If you have excess wear and tear, you may consider having it repaired prior to turn-in to avoid being charged.

Just as a reminder
When it’s time for your vehicle’s inspection, make sure you:
- Clean up the car so the inspector can do a proper visual inspection.
- Don’t have any "Missing Equipment"! (see above). Please make sure all items that came with the car are available at the time of inspection.
- Have all your scheduled maintenance performed. Just an FYI, the inspector will ask for your maintenance records.
All charges indicated on your vehicle inspection report will be billed on your Turn-in Settlement Invoice. To avoid these charges, have the necessary repairs made prior to the end of your contract. If repairs are made prior to the vehicle return, valid receipts must be faxed to Leavens Volkswagen at 1 (519) 659-9670 prior to the return of the vehicle to ensure we appropriately credit your account.
