The ideal candidate for this position will deliver high quality customer service and become a consultant to each customer on finding the vehicle that aligns perfectly with their needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Speak with clients to understand their needs, demonstrate products, offer test drives and presents payment options.
  • Approach, greet & answer customer questions in showroom
  • Assist in setting up the sales lot and/or showroom
  • Builds and maintains long term, one-to-one relationships with dealership customers
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our inventory and use the knowledge to benefit customer's experience

Human Resources Manager (Leavens Automotive Group)

Job Description

The Leavens Automotive Group consists of dealerships in SW Ontario, in London, Chatham and Windsor. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and analyzing the operations of Human Resources for the Dealership Group.

Key areas of responsibility include policy and procedure development; human resource planning; employee relations; training and development; recruitment and selection; onboarding; coaching and counselling; performance and terminations; leadership support to the management team; and the analysis and improvement of HR metrics/KPIs. In addition to remaining current with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations, this role requires the individual to adhere to and enforce all established Company policies and procedures. This role further requires the individual to maintain positive relationships between the management team and employees.

Requirements

  • CHRP designation required
  • Post-Secondary diploma in Human Resources Management
  • Five or more years Human Resources experience
  • Strong ethical behaviour and professional maturity
  • In-depth knowledge of current legislations relating to employment standards to the capacity of providing counsel including but not exclusive of:

Occupational Health & Safety Act, Workers' Compensation Act, Labour Relations Act, Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, etc.

  • Ability to work well under pressure, individually and as part of a team
  • Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Organized, and detail oriented
  • Valid G license with clean drivers abstract
  • Ability to drive to group locations within SW Ontario regularly

Service Apprentice Technician

Job Description

Leavens Volkswagen is looking for an Automotive Technician Apprentice!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Diagnose and perform repairs for all makes and models
  • Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs
  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
  • Perform road tests using safe driving standards
  • Follow all Health & Safety Guidelines

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 1st -- 4th-year Automotive Apprentice
  • Previous Dealership experience preferred
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Good time management skills
  • Customer Satisfaction Driven
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Drivers Abstract
